I'm not one to usually take the time to leave lengthy reviews, however I feel this one is rightly deserving. When my tenants left my home damaged, and I was stuck in NSW with my property in QLD with covid-19 closing the boarders, it was Curtis who took control of everything that was needed to not only appease my insurance company (many quotes had to be amended and broken down due to the complexity of the two different insurance claims )- but he was the only one that noticed damage further to what was initially reported. This resulted in roof and ceiling replacement, that if not detected by him, would have gone unrepaired and most likely led to much further damage in the future. He coordinated not only the removal and replacement of our asbestos walls and ceilings, but roof replacement , internal building adjustments , painting and electrical works. My property was left clean and tidy both inside and out on completion. Curtis was always available to answer any queries I had, and kept me upto date frequently with the progress of the job providing many photo and video updates. And to top this off when I had an antique cupboard delivered and incorrectly left outside my premises, he attended to my distress and had it placed safely inside (this was after my job was finished and he was working elsewhere late on a Friday afternoon). I honestly cannot recommend Curtis highly enough. If you are in need of anything involving asbestos on your property I recommend you look no further , as you will not find a better person to deal with. His pricing was scrutinized by my insurance company, where they found his quoting to be very comparable, and were happy to accept his quote over their own preferred trades people.

Icon has done asbestos removal on my entire roof. Curt is a very professional young man and done the job in good time,when I booked and also in a safe manner. Would definatly recommend using them for all asbestos removals.

We had the ICON asbestos team remove a substantial amount of sheeting from downstairs. The team were polite and did an amazing job given what was removed and the state of the rooms following completion of the job was second to none. Curtis at Icon made reroofing our asbestos roof easy and the price was very fair. His business acumen is first class as he is very nice to deal with and keeps you informed along the way. We had to have laundry walls removed because of asbestos and wanted the laundry reinstated. My husband and I contracted ICON to remove and replace an asbestos roof, along with asbestos walls and ceiling after the weather event in Feb 2022 where our roof completely failed causing extensive damage inside our house. We then decided to extend the work to a complete renovation. Curtis, Brendan and his ICON team are amazing to work with! Communication is excellent, always available for any questions and very patient in explaining some of the more technical moving parts of the job, and ladies - these guys actually listen to you. I recently had a property in the Deception Bay Area re-roofed by Curtis and the team at Icon. My partner and I couldn’t be happier with the service they provided. Curtis went out of his way to meet at site multiple times to run over the project and put our minds at ease about the project. Curtis was very easy to work with and communicated very well always promptly responding to questions via email or text, there was no question too small that we would not answer or assist with. As for the team who did the work on the roof they did a great job, very good craftsmanship and tidy work. We currently have tenants in this property and they were respectful and considerate the entire time on site. All round to job and I would not hesitate to recommend them.
